Kirinari Champions Inclusion at Penrith Panthers’ Bathurst Home Game

2 March 2026

In what’s set to be a blockbuster night of footy, Saturday 14 March will see Carrington Park light up for the Round 2 clash between the Penrith Panthers and the Cronulla Sharks, and this year, Kirinari Community Services is coming on board as an official sponsor.

The Penrith Panthers annual Bathurst home game brings the NRL to the Central West, much to the delight of sports lovers west of the ranges.

What sets this game apart is the thrilling half-time action when Kirinari’s all-abilities teams run on to the field to play under the big lights.

Kirinari CEO Diane Lynch is proud to support the Panthers Bathurst home game as the Accessibility Partner.

“The opportunity to play alongside some of the NRL’s top players is a dream come true for so many of our all-abilities players,” said Ms Lynch.

“Running out onto the field in front of a huge crowd shows what’s possible when barriers are removed, and everyone is given the chance to participate.”

This year the all-abilities players have undertaken a hectic training schedule in preparation for this all-important re-match.

According to Kirinari’s Service Delivery Manager, Dianne Ryan, they can’t wait to take to the field in front of an anticipated 10,000 people.

“Our players love their sport and take great pride in their skills,” Ms Ryan said.

“The Panthers’ home game will give them a rare chance to showcase that passion and feel the thrill of being part of something special.”

Kick-off for this unforgettable NRL event is at 7.30 pm, Saturday 14th March at Carrington Park, Bathurst.

The team from Kirinari will be on hand throughout the evening, running fun activities, and providing helpful information.
