Volunteering

Do you have what it takes to make a difference, and want to help support people in your community? Get involved and join our great and committed team of volunteers today!

If working within the disability sector is something that interests you but you are a little unsure about it, volunteering may be the best way to try it before you commit to a new exciting and rewarding career in Community Services with us. We treat our volunteers just like our staff and supply them with training and support to assist them to perform this valuable function.

We have something to suit everyone, you can spend time with a person with a disability, work within our shared independent living homes, or within our day program/community access space.

Kirinari’s transport department are always looking for volunteer drivers, this may include completing school runs, transport for our aged customers or customers with a disability to their workplace or activities in their daily life.

Due to the nature of our work, we require all our volunteers to provide a referees as well as completing a National Criminal History Check for Kirinari. If needed you will also be asked to obtain a Working with Children Check.
