There are a variety of care and support services available that can assist the autistic community including their loved ones to address these challenges. One of these support services is occupational therapy.
SMTA offers more than just temporary housing—it’s an opportunity to grow, connect, and recharge. Whether you’re looking to develop new skills, meet new people, or simply need a safe space during a period of transition, Kirinari’s SMTA services are here to support you.
Short-term accommodation (STA) is a supported accommodation service that can be accessed through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Through this service, eligible NDIS participants are able to access temporary accommodation for a short duration, where they will receive support and care from an NDIS Service Provider.
At Kirinari, we offer transport assistance for eligible NDIS participants under two main sections: Core Supports and Capacity Building Supports. In this article, we’ll help you understand how the NDIS transport service works under these two funding sections.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers deliver specialised support services and accommodation for people with disabilities. In most cases, the customers who receive SIL funding and services need some assistance to perform daily tasks and activities.

Kirinari would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and pay our respects to the Elders past, present and future for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal Australia.
